Chermaine Cole

Dr. Chermaine Cole is a native of DeSoto, Texas, and a 2008 graduate of DeSoto High School. She obtained a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University and a master's in Sports Administration from Georgia State University. In May 2023, she reached the pinnacle of academia, receiving a Ph.D. in Kinesiology and Sport Studies from the University of Tennessee. Dr. Cole currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Sport Administration at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA where she teaches undergraduate and graduate studies. She strongly advocates for higher education and is passionate about empowering the next generation of scholars. In her leisure time, Dr. Cole enjoys spending time with family and friends, working on puzzles (any kind), and finding new nature trails to explore. She is grateful and ecstatic for the opportunity to work with the Dara Ashley Foundation.
